My sister, two nieces and I walked the Big Mac Bridge Labor Day. This island is my most favorite spot in Michigan. I have not eaten at the Grand but did manage to sneak in on the porch without paying the $10 fee. It truly is beautiful! Although I do disagree with the Starbucks that was built last year on the main strip. It does take away a bit of the ambiance the island offers.
