Tower Lake

Tower Lake is located in the center of Grattan Township in eastern Kent County. This private, modest Michigan lake of only seventeen acres, has reported depths of 50 feet and is surrounded by nature. Most of the land parcels surrounding Tower Lake are larger than most lake front properties in the area. In fact, this spring fed lake currently only has twelve lots on the lake.
I noticed two vacant parcels for sale on the lake, a five acre and an eight acre parcel priced from 101k to 109K. Tower lake is just south of the popular Big Pine Island Lake, also in Grattan Township.
If you are looking for peace and quiet on a Michigan Lake, you may want to investigate the nearby Grattan Raceway and Grattan Motor Cross for their schedule. Noise can travel far.
Hi Dave, if you would like to do a story on Big Crooked Lake (just south of Tower Lake) just let me know. As far as the noise I was in a boat on Big Pine Island Lake with a westely breeze one summer afternoon and had to yell to be heard over the sound of the race cars at the track. I was not here when they built the track but all Grattan Residents have life long free access to all Grattan Raceway events. One has to assume this is some form of gratitude to putting up with the noise. The good news for residents is the race events are not held that often.
