Stone Ledge Lake

Stone Ledge Lake is well located in Clam Lake Township, Wexford County, just south of US 115, two miles south of US 131, exit 176. Since the lake only 5 miles south of Lake Cadillac and the William Mitchell State Park, it is the perfect spot to be away from everything, yet to be close enough to make quick trip to pick up necessary items. Of course, living near a popular tourist area also means that on those hot summer days, you are never far from your favorite flavor of ice cream!
Stone Ledge Lake is an often overlooked Michigan lake of 81 beautiful acres of surface waters and a reported depth of up to twenty feet. I find irregularly shaped lakes are a bit more scenic than a round lake. It is always fun to boat into the fingers and coves to see the wildlife and scenery that may be hidden away in a more secluded area.
Stone Ledge Lake is a private lake mostly developed with seasonal cottages and year round homes. The lake has no known public access.
