Long Lake

The Long Lake that is located in Barry County is one special Michigan lake of 145 acres of surface waters. What makes it special is that it is almost entirely within the Yankee Springs Recreational Area. Only a few parcels on the western side of the lake are privately owned.

There is a clearly marked public access for the fishermen on the northern side of the lake. We would suggest this as an excellent access point for a Sunday hike through the woods along the lake.

We would also suggest waiting for one of those warmer spring days that will be coming.
