I have no idea how many lakes in Michigan are named Round Lake, but there are many.
This Round Lake located just north of Petoskey in Emmet County. It boasts of 333 acres of surface water. The DNR informs us the lake is about 12 feet deep at its deepest point.
The Michigan DNR provides a public access site on the north side of the lake with a paved launch, vault toilet and plenty of parking. The launch site is located about one mile off US 31.
The Little Traverse Conservancy maintains a wonderful 58 acre nature preserve on the lake with half mile of lake frontage. Check out their site for more info.
