Michigan Farmer’s Markets

Farmer’s markets are a part of summer life in Michigan. To walk through a market and see, smell, touch and taste the freshness of the produce is a sure sign of summer in Michigan. It is still a little early in the season for most produce, but visit a market now and you will find fresh rhubarb, plants, flowers and baked goods.
This market, located on Phoenix street in South Haven Michigan, is open Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. I am always willing to try the freshly baked goods that can be found at farmer’s markets. On a recent visit to the market in South Haven, after much deliberation, I selected a granola cluster cookie. What a great choice! This chewy, delicious cookie was pure delight, and a bargain at $2. If you are in the area, be sure to treat yourself to this little bit of indulgence. You can also visit the maker of this delicious treat and learn a little more about them at: Cookie
