After the winter snow melts, Michigan lawns and properties can look pretty neglected. So, when spring arrives, cleanup begins. It is the time to put in the dock, repair the seawall and clean up the tree limbs along the shoreline.
Some waterfront property owners are fortunate to live where water levels are maintained by a dam. Spring means draw down time when water levels are lowered for dam inspection and maintenance. Many property owners take advantage of this time to clean up their shoreline and prepare for the summer season.
